Eden Cottage is a darling private cottage. The perfect getaway when you need time to simply be. Entering the cottage through the private front garden is always heavenly. For those who cherish gardens, flowers and prettiness, the garden offers a nice place to take a moment to relax. Fragrances abound be it the sweet alyssum, old fashioned, double flowered stock, the multitude of roses or the gardenia at the base of the bedroom and living room windows or the jasmine that encloses the surroundings of the courtyard. As you approach the entrance you are met by an intensely fragrant wall of jasmine vines. The garden is filled with lovely flowers along with organic edibles (several varieties of lettuce and a few herbs sprinkled throughout).
The cottage is a nice escape from the hectic world outside. It generously sleeps 2 as a one bedroom and one bathroom cozy house with a large living room, a charming cottage kitchen with a stove and refrigerator, a pantry/laundry room and a private back garden.
It’s simple, traditional and beautiful. In a world where traditional and simple are being replaced by 30 foot high rises where families are now seemingly stuffed into boxes with no space to enjoy the outside, this cottage represents the antithesis to that concept. There is beauty in being awakened by birds and the fragrance of gardenia flowers.
